Delete your shorty now account
Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the shorty now app.
- Go to your profile or settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deactivated right away and can no longer be signed into; a session already open on your device ends within one hour. Delete your account before you uninstall the App: the App does not ask for your name or email, so if you never linked an Apple or Google account we may not be able to identify your account from outside the App.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the App, email ifm.genre.app@gmail.com with the subject “Account deletion request”. To help us find your account, include at least one of:
- the email address of the Apple or Google account you linked to shorty now;
- the order number of a shorty now purchase, from your App Store or Google Play receipt.
Tell us if you also want the content you created erased right away instead of after 90 days. If you plan to delete your account in the App as well, email us first: after an in-app deletion we no longer hold your email address or sign-in details, so we can only find the account from a purchase order number. We may ask for more information to confirm the account is yours. We complete requests within 30 days.
What happens when you delete your account

Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription, and it does not refund it. If you do not cancel, coins from later renewals are added to the deleted account, where they cannot be used. Cancel first in your store account:
- iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions
- Android: Google Play › profile icon › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions
Opening the App again after deleting your account starts a new account; your previous content and coins are not carried over. More details are in our Privacy Policy.
